Risk Advisory Committee

This committee advises the Senior Management Council regarding a structured approach to identifying and managing OSU's risks. The Committee assists in broadcasting risk strategies and helps hold the stakeholders accountable for ownership of identified risks. Members are charged with integrating risk considerations into key operational and strategic decisions.

Membership & Powers
The Enterprise Risk Management Advisory Committee is a standing committee and its membership is appointed by Senior Management Council. Membership closely resembles representation of the Senior Management Council. Individuals are appointed because of their leadership roles within the University and their unique familiarity with their area’s risks. Appointment to the Committee may run indefinitely. The Committee has no executive powers or supervisory functions. It functions as a review and recommendation role to the Senior Management Council.
